Stewarding university land
for what comes next

Turning long-held endowment lands into complete communities,
built for Saskatoon's next chapter.

USask Properties plans
and delivers long-term development on university endowment lands

The University of Saskatchewan holds a rare asset in land — nearly 1,000 acres of endowment lands within five kilometers of downtown Saskatoon.

USask Properties is here to steward that responsibility with care: shaping complete communities and public places that strengthen the university, serve the city, and stand the test of time.

Two Projects
Shaping What’s Next

Some places change a skyline. Others change how a city lives. Our work focuses on creating connected, people-first districts that support the university and bring new energy to Saskatoon.

A Mixed-Use Vision
for Community Life

Planned as a thoughtfully integrated mixed-use neighbourhood, Stadium Square will introduce a blend of residential and rental homes alongside street-level retail, commercial space, and welcoming public plazas.

Designed to serve students, faculty, staff, families, professionals, and the broader Saskatoon community, the district will support a range of daily life, from living and working to gathering and connecting. The result is an extension of campus into the city: vibrant, accessible, and active throughout the day.

A neighborhood that feels like home, by design

Sutherland South is a thoughtfully planned neighborhood nestled between the university and the city. Designed around walkability, shared green spaces, and everyday moments, it brings a quieter, more connected way of living to central Saskatoon.

Community gardens, welcoming streets, and a human scale create a place that feels personal from the start — built for people who value connection, character, and life lived close to home.
